Difference in religious belief systems: Christianity is based on the Bible and places importance on the doctrine of the Trinity. The doctrine of the Trinity refers to the belief that God is composed of three forms: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Additionally, faith in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is important in the concept of salvation. On the other hand, Catholicism is based on the Buddhist scriptures and the Taoist classics from the Three Kingdoms period, as well as Korea's indigenous religions.
