The Vanda Science International Competition

The Vanda Science International Competition is an internationally recognized science competition for students. The competition is supported by VANDA Research and the National University of Singapore.


The competition covers a wide range of scientific disciplines, including mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, programming, and engineering. Participants must first compete in an online qualifying round to advance to the final round, where research-based problems are presented.


Participating in the competition offers young students an opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge in various scientific fields and serves as a great platform for those who are passionate about pursuing a career in science.


The Vanda Science 2023 competition is open to students in grades 3 to 11 (Primary 3 to Secondary 5). The school-based competition will take place on June 15-16, 2023 (paper-based), and the private candidate competition will be held on June 17, 2023 (online).

To participate in the competition, participants must pay the registration fee via the provided website and complete the registration form, which is required to be submitted through Google Forms.
